The Lincoln Amphitheatre will welcome legendary rock drummer Steven Adler this Saturday, August 10, for a one-night-only performance featuring the Steven Adler Band. Known worldwide for his role as the original drummer for Guns N’ Roses, Adler is returning to the stage to perform some of the band’s most iconic songs.

The event is part of the Lincoln Amphitheatre’s 2025 performance season and is expected to draw a large crowd of classic rock fans from across southern Indiana and beyond. Adler’s setlist will include popular tracks from Guns N’ Roses’ landmark 1987 debut album Appetite for Destruction, such as “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” “Welcome to the Jungle,” and “Paradise City.”

Steven Adler, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has experienced a tumultuous career that includes both major commercial success and personal setbacks. Despite past struggles, he has remained active in the music scene. His live shows continue to attract audiences due to his powerful drumming style and strong connection to the band’s early material.

The concert will take place at the Lincoln Amphitheatre, an outdoor venue situated within Lincoln State Park in Spencer County. With a seating capacity of approximately 2,200, the amphitheatre is one of Indiana’s largest fully covered outdoor venues. The location is known for its natural surroundings, which offer a scenic backdrop for live performances.

Opening the night will be First & Main, a regional act that has performed across Indiana and neighboring states. Their set is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., with Adler and his band taking the stage later in the evening.

Marc Steczyk, director of the Lincoln Amphitheatre, said the venue is prepared for a high turnout. “We’re excited to welcome Steven Adler and his band to the amphitheatre. It’s going to be a great night for rock fans of all ages,” Steczyk said in a press release.

Tickets for the concert are still available but limited. General admission prices are under $20, making the event one of the most affordable opportunities to see a Hall of Fame musician live in concert. Tickets can be purchased online through the amphitheatre’s official website.

Parking will be available on-site, and guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure seating and enjoy the park’s amenities. Attendees are also advised to bring light outerwear, as evening temperatures in the area can be cooler.
